Hundreds of people lined Shiawassee Street in downtown Corunna on Saturday for Bombshell Ink's 2018 Ink-A-Thon, a marathon tattooing event that raises money for Relay for Life of Shiawassee County.

Bombshell Ink offered 75 different tattoo options at $20 a piece, donating half the proceeds to the Relay for Life team, Sharp Walkers.

The shop set a goal of a $1,500 donation this year.  Bombshell told Corunna Now they did 329 tats beginning at 10am on Saturday and continuing until 3:30am, collecting $3,660 for Sharp Walkers; more than double their goal.

"Everything ran very smooth this year at the event," we were told. The Bombshell crew said "We want to thank everyone from Relay for Life and everyone who came to the event, and thank everyone for their patience in line as well!"

The Bombshell Ink team promised that anyone in line at 10pm, the official "end" of the event, would get tatted.
