The very latest look at the anticipated winter weather for Saturday night into Sunday morning is looking less like winter and more like, just, wet.

The latest data from Pivotal Weather shows the system, or at least the snowmaking portion of the system, impacting a much smaller portion of the state as well, and generally, much less dramatically.  For the most part, Benton Harbor to Muskegon, including the Grand Rapids area, should expect less than 2 inches of snow.  There could be a couple pockets of higher amounts, up to 5 inches.  By the time you're halfway through Ionia County, it's looking like 1 inch max, all of which will quickly melt as Sunday's high temperature climbs to 55 degrees.

Maybe it is spring after all.
