New Officer In Charge At Salvation Army Owosso Citadel

Looking Forward to Serving Community

Lieutenant Justin Steckbauer recently took over as the officer at The Salvation Army of Owosso Citadel. He is 34 years old, and a graduate of The Salvation Army’s college for Officer’s Training in Chicago. He is originally from Wausau, Wi. Lt. Justin is looking forward to serving the community of Owosso. Lt. Justin is focusing on building on the strengths of his predecessor Lt. Jonathan Tamayo, who was recently promoted to Captain, and moved to Chicago with his wife Samantha.

Lt. Justin is also focusing on strengthening the corps finances, developing community relations, improving community awareness of the services offered by the Owosso Salvation Army, and is developing “Dinner Church” a meal service on Sundays at 5:30 PM.

The Salvation Army of Owosso’s mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and meeting human needs in His name without discrimination.

The Salvation Army Owosso is a local leader in the Christian nonprofit community. The Salvation Army Owosso offers various services to the community including daily meals Monday through Friday, social services, help with bills, youth activities, and spiritual support to fulfill its mission.
