The Shiawassee County Sheriff's Office is seeking the identity of the person or persons that intentionally removed a stop sign at the intersection of Reed and Easton Road, northeast of Corunna, near the Village of New Lothrop.

Two vehicles collided causing significant injuries to multiple people, including a 14 year old boy who suffered life-threatening injuries.

The stop sign was found a few miles away, tossed in a ditch.  The stop sign was swabbed for DNA evidence.  Anyone with information on this crime is asked to call 989-720-TIPS.  Tips can be offered anonymously.
