High heat -- temperatures in the mid 90s -- combined with high humidity is a recipe for heat-related illness, particularly for the young and elderly.
Stay in air conditioned spaces whenever possible -- remember that cooling stations are often made available, so watch and listen to local media for that information. Drink plenty of water, check on neighbors and friends and bring pets indoors and keep them hydrated too.
The Excessive Heat Watch is in effect beginning noon Saturday June 30th through Sunday July 1st at 12am.
