SageLink Credit Union customers are getting stuck at the checkout this afternoon as an error has shut off all of its customers' cards.
The unexpected error is connected to a rollout of new chip cards issued to SageLink customers today. We were told by a SageLink representative shortly after the crash that all customers should have the new cards in the next two weeks but in the meantime will need to contact customer service to have the debit section of their accounts manually reactivated.
Customers should keep watch on the mail for their new chip cards and monitor their accounts closely, the representative said.
The glitch did not occur in the test run of the rollout and SageLink is hoping to have the issue resolved as soon as possible.
