The Shiawassee River is a full foot above flood stage.  The National Weather Service says the river crested at 8.1 feet on Thursday afternoon and should fall back below flood stage by Sunday.  In the meantime, Heritage Park at the Corunna Dam is under water and nearby homes are impacted by flooding as well.

Check out this video from Heritage Park on Thursday evening, thanks to Marci McManaman.
